HAVANNA MOON - pdf -

HAVANNA MOON is worked seamlessly from top down, using the contiguous method by Susie Myers and an ‘A’ line hip shaping along a 9 sts band on both sides of the body under arm. The sweater is cast on at a small neck band and the neckline is shaped with short rows. Please try to follow the short row instructions word for word, it is absolutely necessary to have an exact number of stitches.After the short rows the sweater is completely worked in full rounds.

MATERIAL:

The sample shown is worked with LINEN YARN , Col. UMBRA

NEEDLES:

Circular needles and double pointed needles ( or magic loop) US 2,5 (3,0 mm) and US1,5 (2,5 mm), or needle size to obtain the required gauge.

GAUGE:

23 sts x 38 rows on needles US 2,5 (3 mm), in main pattern to get 4 x 4“ (10x10 cm).

YARDAGE:

XS 750 m / 820 yards S 800 m / 875 yards M 840 m / 768 yards

L 920 m / 1006 yards XL 1050 m / 1148 yards 2XL 1150 m / 1258 yards

TOOLS:

Stitch markers, tapestry needle, waste yarn or stitch holder.

REQUIREMENTS:

Knitting in the round and flat with circular needles and dpns (or magic loop) for sleeves, short row shaping using the Wrp-t (wrap and turn) technique (see page 10) , slanted increases M1L / M1R knit wise and purl wise, contiguous method by Susie Myers.
