Our version of the Contiguous classic is knitted seamlessly from the top down. The shoulders are shaped using the Contiguous method by Susie Myers. Then, the sleeves are formed by [k1, yo, k1] increases into the same stitch, along with simultaneous decreases. The hem, sleeve cuffs, and neckline are knitted in a ribbed pattern [k2, p2].
NEEDLES:
Circular needles and dpns (or magic loop) US5 (4,0 mm) and US3 (3,25 mm), or needle size required to obtain gauge.
GAUGE:
22 sts x 33 rows in stockinette on larger needles for 4 x 4 inch (10 x 10 cm), gauge swatch washed.
TOOLS:
Stitch markers, darning needle, scraps of yarn or stitch holder for holding stitches aside.
TECHNIQUES:
Slanted increases m1L / m1R worked knitwise and purlwise, [k1, yo, k1] into the same stitch, increases LLI / RLI, decreases k2tog / ssk.
